Introduction of a LEAN Audit


IPIC Austria has developed an innovative LEAN Audit programme for potential analysis using REFA and LEAN methods, aimed at evaluating and increasing the efficiency and performance of the company. This audit is carried out semi-annually and concludes with a maturity assessment and possible LEAN Certification.

4. Communication and Information Flow:

  • Reviewing internal communication structures for effectiveness
  • Assessment of information availability and transparency
  • Identification of obstacles in information flow and proposed solutions

5. Use of Technology:

  • Analysis of technology and automation utilisation in business processes
  • Evaluation of software solutions to support LEAN Principles
  • Recommendations for integrating new technologies for improved efficiency

Audit execution:

  • Employees are involved in the audit process to ensure a holistic perspective
  • The results are documented, weaknesses are identified and specific recommendations for action are developed

Maturity Assessment and Certification:

  • Upon completion of the Lean Audit, a maturity assessment is carried out in which the company is evaluated on a scale in various categories
  • Lean Certification is awarded when the company meets specific criteria and achieves a minimum level of maturity
